French Bash: Party Planning Flexibility

The French Bash arrived :D A few people had to cancel at the last moment but we made the best of it and really enjoyed the intimacy of a small group. Before we even got started Dina made a timely realization. The hearty soup we had planned in the winter would NOT DO on a sweltering hot June day. So, clever woman that she is she came up with a second soup recipe in no time at all. I must say it is my new favorite, beating out gazpacho by just a taste. Now all French Bashes will include 2 soups so you get the benefit of soup regardless of the season.

As the morning wore on we also realized that our eyes were bigger than our stomachs and we had overall way too much food. But it was all so yummy – what should we eliminate? But we did ;) Be assured that your French Bash will be "right sized" and if you do have leftovers we'll give you some recipe ideas in our on-line content.

For each test party we invite new people and everyone was very encouraging. We hope our customers enjoy these ideas as much as our friend do. We are just one party away from the Bash-in-a-Box launch. We started the web site design in earnest.

Much to my surprise the graphics/photos seem to be the trickiest part. Case in point we decided to take photos before the French Bash began and it was a bit comical to see us struggling with the lighting and the food placement. We hope you like the photos and we promise to get better.

The real down side for us taking the photos before the Bas was that we lost our 15 minutes relaxation time before the party. We won't make that mistake again! Those 15 minutes really count.

All said this bash was another hit. We can’t wait to get your reaction too!

If you have comments or suggestions please email me at Kim@bash-in-a-box.com

Cheers!
